PNW TIDS: The Pacific Northwest Talent ID Series (PNW TIDS) consists of six independently run sprint distance triathlons held in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii and Alaska. These races are being used as a opportunity for USA Triathlon to identify young athletes who have the potential to be a national or world class multi-sport athlete. PNW TIDS Schedule

Hawaii: Honolulu Triathlon-May 19th
Montana: Bozeman Tritons Triathlon-June 23rd
Idaho: Hayden Lake Triathlon-July 13th
Alaska: TBA
Washington: Lake Tye Triathlon-August 10th
Oregon: Portland Triathlon-Sept 22rd

Youth Elite Cup

Youth Elite Cup athletes race the super sprint distance (375 m swim, 10 k bike, 2.5 k run) which mimics the World Cup and Olympic format of racing. Youth do not have to qualify for these events, but generally should have good swim skills, the ability to ride in a peloton, and a strong run.

Junior Elite Cup

Junior Elite Cup athletes race the sprint distance (750 m swim, 20 k bike, 5 k run) which mimics the World Cup and Olympic format of racing. Juniors do not have to qualify for these events, but generally should have good swim skills, the ability to ride in a peloton, and a strong run.
