The Talent ID Series provides a gateway into the sport of triathlon and a starting point for talent identification.  Participants experience triathlon in its traditional, non-drafting format, officiated using USA Triathlon Rules.

These sprint-distance races have been selected because of their “junior-friendly” atmosphere and age-appropriate courses. There is no requirement to qualify and athletes of all abilities are welcome (subject to race director discretion). USAT frequently reviews the results for talent identification purposes.

If you are a youth or junior triathlete, 13-19 years of age, take advantage of this opportunity to try your hand at draft-legal racing. Tri Monroe is one of the three USA Triathlon venues that offers athletes the chance to race in the draft-legal format and earn a spot on the starting line of the USAT Youth Elite or Junior Elite National Championships in West Chester, Ohio, on August 3-4, 2013.
